Dual Valve Relief 521-557 Flattop Forged Pistons?
Saw these floating around but, little info on them and Probe has one with the same part number with a single valve relief. The person selling them listed 20 sets total in .030" and .080".
What gives?

I’d look for something with a better ring pack and some other features for less money.
Wiesco could be making Marks stuff??? Could ask him he’s on here.

I was hoping Mark would chime in. I thought he sold Probe?
I bet the add got the ring size wrong. Can't see it well from the pictures but, I bet they are likely 1/16".
The Probes with the same part number are 1/16" rings.

I use ROSS now for my own parts. and do a lot of CP and Racetec. no I didn't sell Probe, I did sell CHP. I can't sell Probe. If I was around the bother my wife all day, she'd kill me. I took on a young guy partner, Tobias Aldrete, and he'll carry on when I'm fish food. (Vigilante Performance and Probe Industries)
No Wiseco for me ... ever ... but I won't say why here. Outside of that, I try to support the manufacturers that aren't owned by large corporations. That now is Ross, although I tend to include the other two as well as they aren't buying every company they can find. Racetec is now part of the AFR/Scat deal, in case you didn't know.
I'm not a fan of dual relief anything, BBF in particular because the 3 pockets we need are so different. You can do a single relief for the Stock and AFR though. It's a big booger, but it isn't gorpy (highly technical piston term)
The SCJ/Kaase pocket misses the VP pad on most, if not all, forgings used for BBF. So you have to watch your deck thickness and weight.
No one I am aware of has a dedicated forging, due to low volume ... although everyone has a Cleveland forging and there is probably less volume there.

1/16 1/16 3/16 is pretty much the only game in town for these bore sizes (outside of the stock 5/64)
On the PRS line, I have Total Seal make up .043 1/16 3/16 sets, but that's about as good as it gets without spending a lot of money for rings. Even those are relatively expensive.
