Need helo Fed-Ex delivery

Guys I bought a tranny cooler and the seller shipped it in Fed-EX to my house and they say they left it at the side door. Well I never got it so they contacted the driver and he says oh yes I have been there before. MY claim was if he delivered it then why werent there any tracks in the driveway and none walking to the porch. I told them it had snowed and I would have had to of plowed. No one stole it because there were no footprints and no tire tracks.
Fedex says contact the shipper and I said whats that gonna do for me,if you guys says the driver delivered it ,the shippper is going to tell me to FO. Well thats what we tell people to do.
HAs anyone been thru a situation like this and what was the outcome beside the BONE?
DHL left a hyd. pump and motor at a distant neighbors house a mile away because they couldnt find my place so I have checked all the neighbors houses for the cooler. The driver was probably chevy guy any how.

Hey if I were you,I would track tis Fed-Ex driver down and beat the F@$#&N BEJESUS out of him......!!!!No I'm just kiddin...I work for a Ford Dealer in N.C. and we run into this alot with Fed-Ex.Just call them up and get someone at the depot and they'll be glad to help you.Sometimes they are slow in delivery,but they always manage to find it.Try not to get to frustrated at them cause next time you don't want the driver to crush the box into before he delivers it.Been there had to deal with that too.Good luck to YA.Michael

Tore, My step son works for Fed Ex and he said they get thrown on the wrong route's all the time. But, why did the driver say he delivered it. He either lost it or kept it for himself or a friend. Good Luck Tore and have a great New Year. Can't wait to race w/ya next year. Had a blast at Norwalk

Yeah why did he say that. If he had left it there would have been tire tracks and foot tracks but there wernt. We also had alot of snow and I would have seen the tracks. Thats why I know he wasnt there.

Tore: Maybe you have the same problem that I had with UPS a few years back. I ordered a fuel cell from Jeg's, but after about a week I started to wonder what happened to it, called Jeg's, they said it had shipped, so I checked with UPS - they said it had been delivered! I was thinking that it had been stolen, when I got a phone call from a woman that lived about five miles away - it seems that the fuel cell had been dropped at her doorstep, she got my name from the shipping label, she was nice enough to drop it off at my house on her way to work the next morning. I called UPS and told them, and there response was "that's impossible, no way we could have delivered it to the wrong address" - it must be "rocket science"!

i had a run in with fedx sevral years ago on a clutch assembly i had ordered.fedx droped it off at a neighbors house thinking it was the correct address.fedx driver went back to try to get the packadge but the people wouldnt come to the door.lucky me i payed with a credit card they got involved i got a refund etc.i then ordered another clutch assembly the delivery came to the house with an appoligy hand writen by the fedx driver.the driver was probably feeling the pain of loseing the first packadge i know it cost someone over 500.00
