Big lift roller cam cores
Does anybody know of a good source for American made roller cam cores right now? Ideally I’d like to find a core to grind, or will settle for a finished cam if it’s close to the specs I need. Looking for something in the .640-.670 lift range, 110 lobe center, 250-260° @.050 duration, either a hydraulic roller or a compatible solid grind that I can run hydraulics on. Not interested in anything overseas. Any advice? Much appreciate it.
Now off to the for sale forum for me, I’ve got a few neat items to sell…

About the closet thing you are going to find now in stock, that I have seen. Lowest price too.
It's 285 293 255/263 at .050" 110LSA .675"/.675" Lift. .018"/.018" Lash.
I don't know on the juice rollers but, I believe they would likely/? work.
Have fun finding a core to grind and likely break out your wallet.

Re: Big lift roller cam cores
What cam is that? Do you have a part number?
The Torino is a customer’s car. Color code Q Winter Blue 429 CJ four speed car with A/C. Original block is being used for a 545” build, with a Tremec TKX behind it.
I was going to post a for sale ad for some leftover parts but the rules state I need to have 25 messages first. But I’ll be selling the original top end and rotating assembly from this engine, among other things.

Re: Big lift roller cam cores
It's in the add .
Lunati 40304734
Bottom of Electric Page 118, Actual116 of the Catalog, below.

The Car sounds nice.
Everybody has about given up on the 25 post rule for parts. An introduction in the intro page would be nice.
Are you going to put an SCJ intake an a Holley on the 545?
PS: If that is a customers car in the shop now or a solid yes on the build, I would not Dick Around on that Ebay cam from Jegs. They have been putting them out in batches of two. That one has been up for about 2 plus weeks after the first one sold.
They have almost no other roller cams for 429/460's in stock now. You may be pretty SOL if it sell's for a long while. The last two of the same grind number where sold around 6 months ago I believe.

Lunati Actually is showing 4 or 5 Instock. That's a Big Improvement from not long ago.

You have to click on each cam in the Link, so it kinda sucks. They have one or two a little smaller then you where hunting though. The one on a 112LSA is not too far off.

Re: Big lift roller cam cores
That's not a big cam. Since you asked about cores. Most of the good cams have Callies cores. Many good grinders use them.
