Congrats New Orleans Saints....!

They're on their way to their 1st Super Bowl, after handin' out a well deserved butt whoopin' to the Vikes... It was a great game, and the Saints truly deserve the trip to the Super Bowl...

That was a good game and the Saints are a good team, Minnisota didn't help with the mistakes and poor decisions but the Saints deserved it. The Colts are favored by 4 in the early line in Vegas.

Just got home from the Superdome. It was an awesome game. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It was a tit for tat game and Hartley finally redeemed himself with the winning kick!!!!!!!! Awesome finish. Everybody was crying..., even me....


And I know for damn sure my Grandpa is dancin' in his grave right now!!!!!!!! I'm gonna go drop off my game ticket to him in the AM... RIP Grandpa, the Saints finally did it!!!!!

As much as I dislike the Vikings cuz they knocked out the Cowboys, (and yes their 12 men penalty at the end yesterday was a big f~ck up at the wrong time), I have to admit they did get bum deal on a number of bad calls & all the late hits on Favre. If the tables were turned & the Vikings had been taking out knees with late hits, no doubt penalty flags the would have been littering the field. I haven't watched the news yet today, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see some kind of league fines assesed for the late hit at Favre's knees.


Now the hard decision, root for the Colts or the Saints...........

I'd say the refs called a pretty fair game. There were some calls that went against us that were BS too. All in all what Favre saw was the Gregg Williams defense in full effect. Get to the QB often and hard... They did there job hands down. The offense played a bit flat. They didn't do much with the turnovers from the Vikes.

Way to go saints!!!! i been waitn 43 years.....i think the refs calls evened themselves out...i am from mississippi but live in nj now.........i have and will always be a saints fans.....

I don't know it's hard to decide, never really been a fan of either. Most of the time I'm either rooting for the Cowboys or the Broncos, or laughing at Detroit.

Anybody but the colts, I like Drew, so I will root for the saints, I can't stand Peyton Manning, I know he is the best in the game, but he has the worst attitude also, big headed fu--.

and yea they got lucky
but i am happy to see the saint's go to the bowl

Well, the way I see it, the quarterbacks ALL wear pads and a helmet just like the rest of the players... They're fair game on the field, plain and simple... There were no cheap shots on Favre... The lineman that drove him in the ground, already had him in the grasp... At least Favre manned up and played a great game, and didn't jump up crying a river like cry baby Tom Brady does... Brady said himself, that no defensive player should be allowed to even put their hands on him or any quarterback during the game... What a crock...! They get paid to play football, so play friggin' football...! When my brother and I played semi-pro ball just a few years ago, there was no cryin' allowed... We played the game for the love of the game... Now it's all about the paycheck... Who knows, maybe in the future we'll have the quarterbacks in a cage so they don't get hurt... I say cut their pay, and then we'll see who the real players are...

I'll agree that the Saints did get lucky in the end with Tracy Porter intercepting the ball. I was literally about to puke (literally) knowing that the Vikes were going to score and it was all going to be over.


And just to let you guys know I got picked in the season ticket holders lottery to buy two tickets. I just got finished booking the airfare, hotel and car... Miami here I come... Big John is headed to the Superbowl!!!!!!!!!

I saw a survey yesterday where the Northeast US is pulling for the Saints. Must have something to do with the Colts leaving town years ago.
