BINGO, all these other places stand there with their hand out yelling "Where is the US???" This has been a sore spot with me for years.

BUT, What about the people that still need lots of help in our own country from trageties such as Katrina,or the homes lost to mud slides in Cali, or the homeless shelters that need to be built, to get our veterans off the streets and in a warm shelter to keep from freezing to death. We still have young veterans that still haven't received prostetic arms and legs that they lost in a war in a land they did'nt belong in, in the first place. We are always jumping to spend Billions on others and we leave our people lying on streets or in Hospital beds ,doing w/out. I could go on/on but all this pisses me off.

I am also one of the ones that just don't get it ! Why the hell do these people drop everything and devote all the free time to them BUT will be the first one to call the cops for someone rooting throught the trash can looking for something to eat ! This is one subject that really ticks me off .
I say look after our own first ! Too many people are out of jobs and lost their homes due to the ecomony and here we go again . As soon as another country has a problem or the really bad disaster like what happen over in Haiti , they drop everything to help them . But who helps the USA when we have problems ? NO ONE ! How about taking car of our neighbors that lost everything and help them out before you go on the band wagon to save the world . We are a big part of this world and untill we get on our feet how about staying home and helping out our USA citizens instead of just telling them to go find a job . We are Americans and we need to take care of our own people first ! We need to stop trying to save everyone else and turn our backs on our own people ! There is no reason people should have to eat out of trash cans and live in a cardboard box !
It's just plain WRONG !
