building an engine to go 10.00 index racing at englishtown , and atco

this class seems to be competitve but have these guys are on radials
i would just think you would wont 28x10.5s or 29.5x10.5 ect for being consistent

Any input why the radials are being ran in this class ? scratch

on a good track a radial will be faster and they drive better than a slick. They are a different animal to work with and dont recover as quick as a slick if your going to have traction issues. Hit them "Hard" works alot a guys going fast doing it.

trying to hook using strange 10ways and qa1 coilovers up front with a 1.76 glide motor should make close to 700 hp to run 9.90s for 10.00 index

have baseline upper suspension and anti roll bar stock location spriongs but small diam wolfe craft setup that are adjustable

i have no idea were to start

That single adjustable is going to give you headaches. Doubles are preferred because with a radial, you need to be able to tighten compression and loosen extension. They will need a lot of wheel speed and they need to be hit hard! Keep the power in it from the hit. 17-20 lbs psi Is a good place. Not knowing anything else about the car, this is all I can offer now.

thanks for info , maybe i will put a 28x10.5 on a 10 or 12 inch rim

the stuff i have is brand new and didnt realy want to change the stuff i had , i figd it be not ideal for the radial and being a new car/ combo and not being familiar with setup and tuning for a radial it prob will be very frustating

Thanks

Given the proper setup a radial will be faster 100% of the time. Less drag due to less tire "movement" = more efficient. And easier to drive to boot

i just dont think i have an ideal setup ... i have nice upper baseline setup thats the relocation kit ..like team z setup ,

qa1 coilover up front , i have travel limiters ..... but probem is cars mini tubbed with smal dia coil springs in stock location can adjust ride height , but have strange 10 ways .............

i can crank on those all the way so there tight , but i have no idea how to set the front end up , i just think to do it over coil overs in rear with double adjusters would be best

No worries. I run a slick as well. Sometimes the headache of this small tire stuff gets old, lol
