BBF '67 Stang as a centerfold
Anyone else see the centerfold BBF '67 Mustang in this month's Summit catalog?
Engine is described as a na 572ci with Kaase SCJ's and a glide on VP C12. Car is out of Michigan. Runs high 8's @ 155mph. Approx 900hp and 850 tq.
Its a gorgeous car and runs a fine number to back up those numbers but I was suprised to see a SCJ headed na gas car knock them down. I guess with seriously good porting work and the car is likely light as hell.

Yes, he (kennyb68) is a member on here. Travis Rice posted it on Feb 16, and I didn't see it, and posted it again yesterday,

Thanks for the nice words.
About the numbers she ran, she'll will go faster.
We tested in mid October and it was 50 deg.
Track was cold. I launched soft and short shifted and the car still broke the tires free when I hit second gear. When that happened I went straight to the trailer, loaded it and went home. I didnt want to crash before the photo shoot.
Cant wait till warmer weather, I estimate it should run 8.6
Thanks
Ken

That's very impressive. Great job. I'm a big fan of the SCJ type heads. Hearing that one is running that hard is sweet.
