Re: The stang under primer
I am going with a bright blue . I am gonna attempt to make a mold of my wing and make a carbon fiber wing with a blue twill fabric like this. If that goes good I will make a mold of my wheel tubbs , seat, and trans tunnel along with some flat sheets out of the same material.

He took quite a ride. Can't believe he kept it straight when it came down! That could have been real expensive! Oh, and the car is looking good as well, Randy!

Car's lookin' good Randy. Can't wait to see it all done. The video would've been better if we could hear the cars over the crap in the background.

Re: The stang under primer
Randy, any thoughts on putting in working brake/tail lights? It would really give the fresh paint an extra "pop" at night.

Re: The stang under primer
No I am not putting in tail lights I have thought about head lights , but I do not want the weight of either so I will just use dark tinted head light covers and have some vinyl graphics tail lights .
I actually block sanded the gel coat for 3 weeks just so I could get by with as little primer as possible. About the only bondo I need is in the pin holes and such left from the mold seams

Re: The stang under primer
It ain't near as purty though!! A slick paint job is way more aerodynamic too ! Besides like the words of the immortal Carl Keown.."It's all about the show Boys!!"Lem Evans wrote:Yep , primer is faster .bruno wrote:oh yeah......slow her down with some paint ....looks good Randy
