My Bullitt Beast
Time is here and my car ready to get going. I am just waithing on my tranny and carbs. Thanks to all who helped with kicking my butt to do this thing right, I am glad I did. I think this is going to be a great setup.
[engine]
521 full forged stroker d1ve shortblock.
SCJ heads cleaned and modded by me.
13.3:1 compression.
D&D 2 1/8 longtube headders.
Weiand tunnel ram.
[2] Holley 750 carbs.
[transmission]
Fully built C-6
Reverse valve body with trans brake.
PTC custom 10 converter [4200 stall].
A little later I will put my little shot of N2O on it but I don't think to much that run the streets will be a threat.
This should be a awsome import killer.
What would be a good way for me to post pics? I got a bunch to show ya.

Nice photo
Are you gonna have the engine dyno'd or the car chassis dyno'd
Good luck with your project and I agree it will eat most imports and those smart-aleks with their new Camaros.

I am planning to engine dyno it. I have most of the stuff hooked minus the carbs, it's going to be nice tomorrow so I can get great pics for you all to see.

Re: My Bullitt Beast
This thread sucks without pics! I am a BULLITT lover and want to see this so bad! My dad has an 03 Mach 1 in absolute perfect condition I keep telling him it is perfect for a BBF, Powerglide, 9", and would make an awesome 10.5 car but he just tells me to keep dreamin

Re: My Bullitt Beast
Bullet, you got a nice ride there, but those air breathers will catch fire, I have seen it happen two or three times, they leave a big mess inside the carbs. (just trying to help)

Re: My Bullitt Beast
I like the hilborn style too, what is so bad about the scoop deal? Are they just a deal like the main gridles, just a waste of money? I will admit they do look like a PITA to setup.

Ditto... back when I was the kid just outta high school a guy I worked with gave me his at the point he realized this..
...But I never used it
Re: My Bullitt Beast
Yea I am going to run the hydroboost, I have aerospace drag brakes up front and in the back, It all works good.
Don't kill me but the valve covers are pro comps... Those were the only plain aluminum ones I could find to paint. They are 4 1/2 in tall and they clear the hydrobooster.

Re: My Bullitt Beast
Well I have been working on and alternator bracket, got it done and now I got my d&d headders I am fitting in the car. 2 1/8 is no joke with a factory k-member. I took the headders and cut them to bolt the tubes on one at a time. I also found some serpentine pulleys off a 460 truck I am using. Have to put some clamps on today and I will be able to give some good detailed pics of the motor tonight. I hate having a delay, but I also love the challenge to be able to build things with my bare hands.
