I wont wreck this thread.................we knew it was coming, he's been pretty bad the last couple of months. Ever since my grandma passed some years back he has never been the same. Got to where he had to be put in a living center............he never liked it there......people were great just not being able to stay at his own house.

He's been tethered to an oxygen tank for the last 5 years.............too many cigars early on..............don't smoke guys...........it aint pretty.

He's been more off than on, we did go see him 3 weeks ago and had a real good visit, never said any crazy stuff and was there mentally..............I'm not the best about making time outside my own, just how I am.

He's in a better place, with my Grandma now, they were married like 60 years.

Appreciate the kind words.............been a tough day.


I'll have to have them pull the records at the dealership and see when his last visit was......I think it was a year ago last summer...... he used to drive over 40 miles so I could change his oil............and not just because it was free.

Sorry guys ,but it's like my Dad .At least now their suffering is over and they're in a better place. Time will ease your pain, you'll never forget them , but you'll find peace with it. God Bless you and your families.....
