S.I. brand valves

Anybody have anything good or bad to say about them?

I've used SI valves for years with fine results. Their raceflow and their Silver Line etc.

Their "Competition Series" valve is right between those two and I have used them for years; still do...

I've used literally thousands of their valves in 385 Series stuff and zero issues thus far. Usually their PortFlow/QuickFlow line of stainless valves.

Stay away from the low end stuff if your going to run A big roller or big springs. They are ok for mild stock or street builds only IMO

That's just it - saying "S.I.Valves" is not distinguishing the quality level as they offer 4 different series of valves, (5 series if you count their Titanium valves also), and it is just like Manley or Ferrea or REV you can get anywhere from street replacement to full blown race valves.

I've used their Portflow series which is a budget swirl polished stainless valve for popular applications with no problems and I've run those with some rollers before in Big Ford and Chevy engines which is probably ok as long as the spring load, profile and rpm are all moderate. I've also used them a lot in circle track builds running flat tappets without failure. I had one engine that made very high EGT's and I would just change the exhaust valves when I would freshen the engine once a season.
