Re: Tow rigs..................
We race 'em both. I've got a 06 super duty that I use if my kid isn't coming with me, if she is and were both racing, it's on the camper.
The 11.7 on the truck is from 1/8 mile, but I hope to have pretty close to that number in the quarter if/when I build my 545. It will run way faster than 11.7 in the 1/8th, but it was on an airport runway, and it would spin out completely, she'd pedal it and go. She won the class and 500 bucks the day before this pic was taken.

No flaming from me Tree, I am a Dodge owner too. If Ford could come up with something as good as the Cummins, I'd own one in a flash, but being as how they want to continue making junk diesels that keep feeding Fabio's kids college fund, I'll drive the Dodge.

The Cummins engine is one of the best (If not THE best) diesel engine out there. It just comes in one of the worst platforms in the industry.
We have several company trucks (Ford, GM, Dodge) here at work [some with gas / some w/diesel) and we have more problems out of the Dodge trucks than the Ford's & GM combined. Granted,......we put them thru pure hell on our mining roads,....... But, they simply can't take the abuse.

I like the strong representation of 70's F trucks. They are the nicest truck Ford ever make IMHO.

We used to drive past Renegade in Indiana, lots of big fancy Motorhomes. We saw the OCC rig there getting finished.
