some pics of the new paint on car

well guys the car is back from the painters, not completely finished, we take it back a in few weeks to have it colored sanded and everything else finished, than we can start putting everything back together. The pics are not very good and we are leaving it in the trailer for now until it is finished and than i will have some more pics. The car is supposed to look like Roy Hills old Pro Stock Capri.

Looks pretty good to me. Keep us posted. I love the look of the older cars' paint scheme. Seems like everyones cars now are just overdone with graphics.

and now the new paint! Hope to get it finished in a few weeks, we plan on taking it to have the car certified, than hopefully straight over to the painters to have him wet sand everything and buff everything and have it finished, in another month it should be done I hope!

took a few more pics today. trying to get a bigger set of slicks on the car so rolled it out before putting her back in. We are going to try and get her certified Friday night than take her back over to the painters to have the car finished, needs some sanding and buffing and maybe a place or 2 re-shot. Than hopefully we get her back and get to reassembly and hopefully the motor is back by that time also and we should be ready to go. Should be a nice 10-20 foot paint job!

Thanks! It has been a long bunch of work and time to get it this far and really the car should look pretty good with everything back on it and the regular tires and wheels back on her to. They are pro stars all around usually and right now we just put a set of 10.5 inch slicks on her in case of over-spray or anything like that

I like the look. Mine is almost finished can't wait to get it back on the track.

The car is pretty much finished, except he wants to come by and do some more buffing on the car and also paint some of the trim (like the side mirrors) black. Got the motor put back together and set in the car and started her up last Thursday, so hopefully soon we can take her out and she what she will do. The car I think would look much better if we had a spoiler for the back(too expensive and cannot afford right now) and also maybe a black little pin-stripe breaking up the red and white going down the car. Not to bad for a cheap paint job.
