Found an old picture
Before
I found this while I was searching photobucket for tow rig pics. It's my street legal 1979 Mustang. This picture was snapped about 5 seconds befor the number 8 rod exited the oil pan. We had a year end burnout contest, and I held it at 6500 for the required 15 seconds, then was going to giver across the line, but when I hit the fresh water, the rpm jumped up to 7000, it ticked the rev limiter, and bam! It broke the cam and timing chain, but the stock pushrods folded up nicely and save the valves and heads, and the wayward rod took the heads off of 2 oil pan bolts and missed the block. This was back in 1996, and I'm still running the motor today.
