I thought I'd do a little shootin':

Here's a group I shot with my buddy's 7mm Rem. Mag. While building a custom load for it. I guess it'll suffice, huh? Very Happy

Here's one I shot with my wife's rifle:

We're going out to do some video's in a couple weeks. I'll post them up for ya when we get them. If they're any good that is. Laughing
Just thought I'd share one of my other boring hobbies Wink.

Thanks Dave. Yes, the 7 Mag has a fairly heavy 29" Hart barrel. I use #4 (medium sporter weight) Douglas barrels on all the rifles I build for myself and my family. I do all the bedding on the actions of the rifles I "tune up," and take alot of pride in the work I do to them. Afterall, I have a pretty good reputation in these parts, I need to uphold it.

Bill, I didn't mean to imply that shooting is boring. It's anything but. I have a blast doing it. It helps me relax and clear my mind. What there is of it that is. Wink Wink The part I love most about the shooting sports is introducing a new youngster to the sport. Both the shooting, & reloading side of it. My son is an exceptional shot himself. A couple summers ago he and I were invited out to shoot a Mil-Spec Barrett M-107. My son smoked a 1 Liter water bottle @ 660 yds. with only his 2nd rd. ever fired through it. The 1st being at a paper target @ 100yds. to see how he liked it. Before he made the shot on the water bottle, the guy asked me if he was a good shot. I replied, better than average. After he blew up the water bottle, the guy says to me, "better than average my a**" Shocked Laughing

Yeah, I figgered there was a bit of sarcasm about the "boring shooting". Very Happy

Bet you were a proud daddy when your son nailed the water bottle......better than average......bit of an understatement!!! Nice job.
