what to do with a scammer
So I have these 10 hole mustang wheels for sale on Craislist. Then I get this:
And I wonder, hmmm, what to do? Lots of options here, I could give'em the address of Yankee Stadium. The White House. A local police department. Or I could delete it and move on...
What would you guys do?
Thanks for the prompt response and i will love to make an instant
purchase,i hope it is in good condition like it stated, i have taken
a close look at the advert, and am completely satisfied so please do
withdraw the advert from Craigslist.I don,t mind adding an extra $50
dollars for you to take the advert down from criagslist, so that i can
be rest assured that am in hand of the item.I will also like you to
know that i will be paying via USPS MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CHECK and
it will be an over night payment............. You don,t need to bother
your self with the shippment ok,I will take care of that myself.... So
I will need you to provide me with the following information to
facilitate the mailing of the payment....
1.Your full name.............
2.Your physical mailing address.............
3.Your phone number...............
4.and the state ZIP code...............
**Once again ,I will like you to know that you will not be responsible
for shipping of this item . my shipper will move down to your place
for the pick up...as soon as the check clear. hope you assure me in
hand of the item... Have a wonderful day and God bless you

This crap is what makes people like us have a hard time selling stuff online. I was told that I had some stuff too cheap so it was reported as being a fraud. I had to defend myself. I jacked up the price and sold the same stuff the next day. wth

No worries Pat, I'm not going to actually do business with this guy. I was just thinking about how I could waste some of his time or get him caught.

Re: what to do with a scammer
The link had some good info. I'm pretty well read up on scams. I had one go on for a month with a guy on ebay, so I forwarded all these emails in a nice little package with all the guys info and user info. He had a great feedback rating! All I got was a form letter back... ...thanks for your interest in...

Give him the Local Police dept address and talk to one of the local cops and have his name for them to recieve the check..... then when they show up the are directly where they need to be...... But let the cops know what you are doing so they are ready....

Don't go through with the deal, I've had people offer the same bullshit to me. Send the dirtbag to an AA meeting. Give him this info:
Name- Jack Mehaugh
Location- 69 Bullshit Avenue
Business- Sofa King Obvious
Number- 1-800-upyours (and its the right amount of numbers too)
