1978 F-250 XLT Camper Special with factory 460 plus some RHP magic...
1978 F-250 XLT Camper Special 112,000 original miles. Purchased locally.
Tilt wheel with cruise control
A/C (removed due to age and extra weight. Have all parts)
AM / FM CB
Matching canopy
HD hitch and ball.
New Heater core.
C-6 auto with stock stall convertor
3.54 to 1 gears with 16.5" on original rims.
Factory 460 equipped.
Brand new front aluminum grill surround.
RHP engine tweeker touches include...
Budget ported D0VE C heads 310 / 187 cfm @ .600" lift
uggraded single valve spring package with p/c seals
Dove rocker arms with adjustable conversion. Picked the best out of my stash.
New 8.600" pushrods
Final static c/r is 9.31 to 1 calculated
DCR is 8.3 to 1 with voodoo cam 61601. 213/219 @ .050. 108 lsa in at 103 ICL. 535"/540" lift
9 keyway FMS double roller timing set
Recurved duraspark distributor
Performer intake with 750 holley vac. Idle restrictors tuned
Dual snorkle factory aircleaner with K&N filter
Factory large outlet exhaust manifolds in excellent shape with large bore single exhaust and magnaflow muffler.
New belts and newer water pump
I have a brand new set of hooker super competition headers for the truck. Too lazy to install them.
This engine combo is an honest 400 HP+ / 500 torque all day long with the available headers
$2,795.00 with out headers. Buy the truck and get a sweetheart deal on the hookers...
This truck will pull a mountain and runs like a freight train to 100 MPH.
