cam lift question
how do u figure out actual lift of the cam shaft after the rocker ratio?? sorry if it's a dumb question. thanks

gross lift is lobe lift x rocker ratio.
example would be .358 x 1.73=.619 then you can subtract the amount of lash setting you have in a solid valvetrain.

That's one sick bike!!!
cam lobe lift X rocker arm ratio = valve lift. Then - lash = total lift (not always necessary to factor in lash).
Or the lift the cam card says is for the valve lift divided by the rocker arm ratio = lobe lift.
Simple enough, the rocker arm is offset to give it extra lift and leverage.
