The Bash, was a smash!

I really enjoy seeing everyone again, and meeting some new ford guys. I'm the guy with the 67 Cougar who had some problems.
I had just got it together, had taken it to the track the Friday before the bash and had problems with a fresh work trans. Took it out and back to my trans guy Monday the week of the bash. Pick it up Tuesday and had it back in Wednesday. It rain everyday so had no chance to test her out. I didn't expect to have it miss shift and I had the rev limiter out of range rookie move . I haven't gotten a chance to do the tear down of the engine to see the damage yet but will be on it some this weekend. Will post pics, Really could use a good C-6 trans guy to go over it. Thought I had one.

On a happier note you guys shown up and shown out man I am proud to be a ford man.

I cant wait to get my car together and meet up for a bash! I may be running a lead sled, but I certainly hope it's no slouch.

I dont know how close you are to Hollins, MI....But Gregg Sheridan does tranny's on a daily basis..and builds some nice C6's..He runs a 93 hatchback street/strip with around 800 + Hp last I heard..and he has kept his trans in the case for quite some time now.. Anyway just a thought..

Russ, funny that you mention Gregg. He was pitted right behind Melvin at the bash.
He has the red mustang with 9.1 decals on the hood.

I enjoy myself inspite of the car problems, will be looking into the tranny guy for sure. I am ready to get to work on the car.
By friend is a gear head for sure, he runs a 67 mopar, its being repaired after a unfourtunate crash at the tracks last year, came down from a wheel stand and the front left shock support gave out and he hit the other car, Good guy and he had a ball too, you guys had him wearing the ford bash t-shirt. Thanks again for the support and will keep you all posted on the progress, with some pictures too.

Yep Mike that would be Gregg, a super nice guy, and goes above and beyond the call of helping his friends out... He's running that 572" BBF and has this NOS on it also,,Hence the nos-stang screename.. His stang has I dont know how many street/strip miles on it..and always seems to stay together.... like I said he's like one of the good guys out here, Really friendly, and very stand up guy !

I dont see that it would be that hard to contact him...I knw he's not online as much as his was in years past..But he is here..and maybe able to help without shipping the trans cross country...

mel get that thing back running yet?
