Hi guys need your input put new dampner on timing tape on firied up the car check timing its over 50 I know its not right anybody make an adjustable timing pointer for 69 429.The car fired right up where its at Thanks Dave

Did you make sure #1 was found and in the right place? and make sure you got the right tape for YOUR balancer Smile
I have some stock ones and Lem sells a really trick one that is adjustable from Ford Motorsport.

Yea 1 was up Smile didn't think about the tape being wrong confused I'll check it out thanks did they make different pointers on big blocks Question don't know if motors fixed or not plugs was completly oil fouled and metal in the oil,good oil pressure though thats a plus. waiting to get back to track

Better find out where the metal came from,the oil pressure won't be good for long.
