Back Half
Who has the best back half 4-link kit available?
On second thought I think a ladder bar set up with a mini tub will work better for me. After reading some of the other threads it would be the best choice and easiest way to up grade rear suspension and increase tire size. Hoping to at least get a 14 X 30 tire.

Re: Back Half
Man that is going to be a subjective question depending on who you ask.
I think RJ/Quarter max has one of the strongest ladder bar designs out there. And they have one of the best adjusting geometry because (A) the top/bottom rear rod-ends thread on the same C/L angle, and (B) the rear rod-ends attach to the housing brackets directly in line (over) each other increasing the "adjustability before binding" window. Older designs like the S&W bar (and others like it) have less "adjustment before binding" because their lower rear rod-end is placed farther forward than the top rod-end is.
If your just shooting for a NHRA/IHRA legal back-half or mini-tub (vs faster SFI legal) then most anybody's cage or chassis/cage kit should technically "work" ok, but there is only so good any "kit" cage is going to fit any given body.
Of the two basic cage designs for how the roof/windshield area bars are laid out (one piece "U-hoop" halo bar & two windshield bars vs 2 side roof/windshield bars with a separate bar running across the top of the windshield) the U-hoop halo setup is usually the easiest to install, but the hardest to fit real tight to the body & out of your field of vision.

Thanks DILLIGASDAVE, lots of good information. I was thinking I was going to have to address my cage set up again. Will look into the
RJ/Quarter max Ladder bar.

I did an S&W 4 link kit in my fox body, simple install. Only complaint is the rail bends are sloppy, but enerything else in the kit was nice.

I got to agree with Dave on the frame rails from S&W and others out there. Make sure that the frame rails are mandrel bent, meaning not crinkled, Alston, and RJ both have mandrel rails (2X3 box) . Just ask lots of questions before you purchase.
