Re: Back Half 1969 Cougar
Those 70's are both nice cars. I do like the 70 models too,but I do prefer the 69 Grill / hood the straight clean look, and only a latch to bump your head on not the big olds 442 center hanging down (still like the look), I learned its better for my knuckles to bleed then the back of my head (or both) and when you are over 6' tall it is a given with the 70. The hood and grill could be changed to my preference would likely even keep the tail lights, but I was just looking to see what is out there. As for the Pro Street - Race Car thing ... a 35 spline Detroit locker with a street gear and a toned down converter, and camshaft with a little or big hit of nitrous ("MR Frosty") can be used to enjoy not the best of both worlds but definitely some of both. I do not do extensive body work or chassis work (welding), but give kudo's to those that can and do, I also should have mentioned rolling (kind of).
It is a nice car and I was interested.
