Here's my new pad. I close today at 11am. 2100sq ft, 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, fireplace, nice 2 1/2 plus size garage, beautiful yard with alot of trees, wild flowers, shrubs, situated on 2 1/2 acres, $115,000. Close to Dryden MI about 20 miles north from where I live now, in the country Exclamation I hate the city and the traffic.

Very Happy I bought a house Newhouse

Nice place!! Great price, I guess the real estate is still kinda soft in MI? A former co-worker sold everything here and moved to MI for a job. Bought a house and in one year he lost about $80K in equity. Then the job went too and he had two weeks to get out of the country!!

Nice place, have fun as a homeowner.
The MI real estate market is still quite soft. My friends just bought a HUD house, it sold for $175K 2yrs ago, it was listed for $145K, they offered $105K and got it. Great time to buy if you have a job, but sucks if you need to sell.

Right now I'm the newest homeowner ya'll know and I'm happy Very Happy Boy is there a bunch of papers to sign Shocked Just got back from all the b.s. involved and all. I know it could be a money pit but a person has to live somewhere and renting just didn't seem to be a smart choice along the "first time homebuyer option" and todays housing market. Some day (it's a long story) maybe some of you will be privy the whole story.... but, in a short story my gf owned her home, (we live together) lost her job Evil or Very Mad , then financial problems Evil or Very Mad , market took a dump Evil or Very Mad ,etc, etc, etc. It was sad Sad

congrats on the house! It will be the best investment that you will make! 2100 sq ft and the land...around me would sell for 3- 325K, That's why I live in a little shit box...1100 sq ft single family dwelling! Enjoy the pleasures of home ownership. Build the biggest shop you can build, be it a 20x30 or a 60x100...they fill up quick!
