carb guru's ....added video

can somebody shoot some video of there car running and giving it throttle ...... aim the camera at the carb ..... needs to be a quickfuel gas carb or any large carb ...i will video mine after the neighbors wake up

ive tried even increasing fp ... and its dribbling when i give it any throttle ...it was doing the same thing at the bash ..... it doesnt have a good stream of fuel when you blip the throttle ???

Nick is the pumps leaking any on the carb if so that is the reason the 116 is ruff on the pumps you have the green or black pumps

get some gaskets and such and freshen 'er up...............it ain't like its a human brain or anything, even a non HeRo or B- knows quite a bit racer can rebuild one.................

Nick quick fuel kit comes with step by step instructions or atleast the E85 kit does.

How much is a blip? Does it stumble when you 'blip'?
You can just unscrew the squirters ...remove the hold down screw blow them out with carb or electrial spray-can.

x 2, it could also be the pump cam spring is out of adjustment.

I've also seen junk in the metering block path to the squirter. A small shot of compressed air will clear the path (remove the bowl and metering block).

Then you have enough pump shot....it is agood idea to keep the squirters and air bleeds clear regardless.

let me take that answer back .... yes it does have a stumble and is no were as crisp as it used to be , i took another video last night and im sure the air ( 110 degrees w/ umtinth million humidity )isnt helping it also

Man, you ain't gettin' shit outta dem dare squirteraterzzz.

Id say you need to pull the metering blocks off and do as Damon suggested. I'd hose down ALL the bleeders with some carb cleaner and a nozzle followed by a good blast from the air hose. And pull the squirters off as well, and take the little seat out of the carb body and do the same thing there. You probably just have a small piece of dirt trapped in there. Not a big deal to fix.

When the air goes to shit engines are like people......not as happy as they were 20* ago. Rotten air sometimes requires a little less fuel and a little more timing.
DO NOT tune it up in the drive way. Draw conclusions by how it acts in the water box , goes against the converter and goes down the track. When the engine gets ratty in poor air 1st thing to do is clean up the idle circurt....turn the idle mixture screws in 1/8-1/4 turn [leaner]. If that helps you are on the right track.
