I don't want to bash again but....

5 weeks now and still have not got my heads from Trick Flow. What pisses me off is that they have told me they have shipped on May 25th, June 2, June 9, and now they have told me June 13th. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! I am using a set of borrowed heads now that are not ported.

If I didn't have pistons already flycut for their valve angle I would have went with a different company.


Their products are okay but they keep lying to me on the phone and email.

I noticed on their website that they offered a billet cylinder head. I wondered at the time just how long it would take to get through all the tape to get a set like that made.
Fox Lake seems to be the place all the local SBF guys get their custom stuff.

buddy I had a problem years ago with Zenith TV corp, I bought a 42 inch tv and within 6 weeks it went out, had it replaced, six months it went out. got it replaced the company went out of business. I called Zenith ask them to warranty it, said no can do, you have to take it back to the dealer..... I explained they went out of business...... I ask for the highest manager in charge.. they put her on ask for help, she said go to the dealership..... again I explained they went out of business... by them I was really Pissed.. I explained to her if I didn't have a full refund in my hands by the end of the week I would do something I really didn't wish to do.... I would go to work make a flyer put it in the company fax and hit the birst button and it would hit 20,000 fax machines in 25 seconds what to you think that will do to your sales???? She go me my money in 2 days...

I would call TFS and explain if you didn't have your heads ASAP you would post it on every internet sight and see what happens..... or get someone with some pull to call them and ask for help..... Surely you know someone that deals alot of TFS heads and products....

zenith tv's suck ass........but most others do too.

Didn't get them today.

They always tell me that the guy I need to talk to is not there.

call them and ask for the Management or Supervisor......and then explain to him the problem and see if he can help.....remember to remind him how many times you have been lied to so far.....

The last week we have called everyday and we have talked to a supervisor (I'm not posting names). I guess we pissed them off by now. But 5 weeks, damn.

If I don't get them tomorrow this issue is going on YB.

Tell them you want a complete refund this is just TO MUCH time and go buy something else ... as long as they think you are commited to them, this will continue until THEY are ready.

Guess what I FINALLY received today.

but..........

Pulled apart my running motor to put them on and guess what...........the phucking things take different head studs. I didn't get any paperwork with these besides the invoice and Trick Flow did not tell me this during any of our eleven phone calls. Both TFS "R" small block heads just need different studs. Damn it. They added almost six pounds of aluminum according to my scale. I have two sets of the old heads here and the new ones and the new ones are different. I guess I get to waste more money overnighting a new set of studs. PHUCK, PHUCK, PHUCK, PHUCK

What gripes me the most is that Ed (at Trick Flow) seems to have a hard time telling the truth on the phone.

After we win some more races the BBF will be expedited. The complete build will be posted here and I will NOT be using TFS heads.

Makes me not want to buy from them. That's total BULL, VERY unprofessional to have them do this stuff to you.

I don't want to keep any of you from buying anything from them, but I would go through a dealer and not deal directly with them. I just had a strange situation that I had to deal with them.
