new paint in progress
I took my car to Mr Jim Defew http://www.1ofdefew.com for the new paint . His work is just flat out awesome.
I thought I would give you guys a sneak peak of it , it's still masked and has no clear on it yet so you can't get the full effect yet . It will be blue on top the half when finished.

Re: new paint in progress
It won't matter....it'll still slow down with all that heavy paint on it. Primer is fast

Re: new paint in progress
No on the manifold ,I had to block sand and prep the car last week . I will work on that as soon as paint is done , as hot as it is here now it would be hard to see a small hp difference with varying track conditions anyway imo.
Lem your not allowed too set your cold drinks on my trunk lid anymore without an approved coaster
Thanks guys , Jim can lay out some awesome looking designs. He has several magazine cover shots.

Randy,
That thing is going to look killer. Knowing how you like the weight reducton peices, I am sure Charlie or Lem could get a carbon fiber TFS intake made for you. Keep us posted on the progress.

Looks great Randy. I'm not much of a flames guy, but hey, to each his own. They do compliment your car very nicely.

Re: new paint in progress
Thanks , Doug I am not real big on flames either, but I like them if they are done right.
Flames are just about a requirement for Jim to do custom paint . I like the way he done mine on my car. He laid them out by hand with 1/4" tape that's not from a cut out pattern .
He did not get the clear on yesterday car is still in the paint booth lol , but here is a pic of the door un masked
