Hello from Ontario
Between home renovations and endless overtime to pay for it I've had to catch up on all the changes from the old site and the migration of the brain trust to here. A lot can happen when you look away for a while .
I'm the type of user that relies on the experts to keep me out of trouble; through some good luck and good fortune (not good advice) I had my latest motor built a few year ago before finding this wealth of info and it still does pretty well for some of the mistakes made, a testament to the 385 family. My '77 F150 4X4 has been through many changes but the final street rod/drag truck is it's final journey. It's currently a LWB, the SWB frame has had all it's holes welded up and after watching Doug and Mike get there F150s sorted out on coilovers I think I'll probbly go the same route. The difference is I'll keep the front axle and have the tall gasser look, not optimum for performnce but this thing is my toy (or mistress by the money spent) and I like the look.
Looking forward to learning what I can and the entertainment along the way helps also.
