Google images "61 prostreet ford f100" "62 prostreet ford f100" ect. I have a 67 f100 if that means anything If you have any questions just ask because believe it or not there is a bit in common between slicksides, bumpsides and dentsides.

Are these the Econoline pick-up we're talking about here?? They are kind of quirky but I like 'em!! I saw a couple of them at a car show last year with sbf engines in them, I bet a bbf would be fun. Pretty good weight transfer!!

No Bill I think you are thinking of the mid 60's version like Scooby Doo. They look just like a regular 61/62 Ford or Mercury but the box is part of the cab and they were a unibody truck.

Re: anyone building a unibody truck?
There was a guy who had one in my hometown (maybe still has it) it was Really rare though. It was a mercury M250 unibody. I tried to buy it for a puller body ( i think it be much easier to make a flip body out of one)
He was not interested in selling it. Or maybe just wanted more than i could afford. It was rough and full of junk, but all there. THe body panels were not rotted out though which was surprising, just a lot of dents and dings.
I had forgotten all about it until i read this post. Too bad i just got back last night from visiting the old stomping grounds for the last 3 weeks

Unibody. Uni means only that the cab and the bed are UNIted. They still have a full pu frame like the rest.
