I forget what the dome is. I have it written down somewhere. They are JE pistons and the chambers are 80cc.
Re: Got the car back yesterday
Well the motor didn't go in tonight. I had some stupid little projects I wanted to finish before I set the motor in the car. I don't see why the motor wont be in the car tomorrow night.
Here's my dad working on both of are trans to get them ready to go in are cars.

Moroso Water pump. It's 25+ years old so I don't know if they make them anymore
Re: Got the car back yesterday
I got to hear the motor run thursday night. Sounds real good. I thought I would of had it at the track this weekend but it had a water leak with the front motor plate and had to take it apart. Plus I still have to make a throttle linkage and othr little things. I'll have it done for next weekend but right now I'm headed to the the track to race the 69 Mach 1.

Re: Got the car back yesterday
I hope to go next friday to make some runs (Oct 15). Couldn't go last weekend and can't go this weekend. So next friday it is. If there racing on the 16 I'll be there also.
Re: Got the car back yesterday
First pass 1.25 60ft and when it shifted to high gear broke the input shaft. Which is a glide input shaft. We had a turbo spline in it but my converter out of my Falcon is much better than the one my dad had which was a glide spline. My converter will be sent out Monday to accept a turbo spline.
Re: Got the car back yesterday
Well it's all back together and went and got the frontend alined. We are going to go back out friday night.
Re: Got the car back yesterday
First run timing was at 35*. The front end went to the moon. I went 1.28 60ft on the rear tires and then pedal it it came down kinda hard and went back up and bounced again and went up again. Well that run was aborted.
Second run we put the timing to 30* and went 1.25 60ft and 8.78@153. The car is going back to the chassis shop in the furture to get wheelie bars and parachute. So we can put all the timing back in it and run some 8.50's
I will post video's from inside the with the HD GoPro camera tonight
