tire pressure??
hi there.
Anybody that can tell me the correct tire pressure of my car, or how to find out?
it's a lincoln towncar of 5000 lbs.
the tires sat max. 2.8 bar.
Anybody knows what advisable?
they're 235/75/15
Thanks.

Re: tire pressure??
36 Lbs is probably about right. Maybe a little lower if you don't like the ride at that inflation pressure.

Re: tire pressure??
okay,
But, it's with 1500 Lbs in and on the trunk...
So, it needs a little pressure there...
there are also airlift's that are helping with 35psi each
thanks.

Re: tire pressure??
a little extra won't hurt, may wear the tires a little in the center. but I wouldn't go over 40.

Re: tire pressure??
add a little extra and drive it. check the temp with your hand after driving it for a while and if it is really really hot add a little more air. that is the ole farmers trick that is highly recommended by tire manufacturers. the fronts and rear should be close to the same temp but the rear will be slightly warmer because of the torsional loads of pushing the vehicle.

Re: tire pressure??
Sounds like you need a truck!!
32 PSI = 2.2 Bar
41 PSI = 2.8 Bar
I don't think you should exceed the tire's max pressure. You will start to wear the center of the tires.
I think the Town Cars called out 32 PSI (2.2 bar), so going to 41 PSI (2.8 bar) is quite an increase.
