Looking for feedback on electric trailer brake controller
Guys,
My 20 year-old Tekonsha electric trailer brake controller is getting tired.
I want to upgrade to a new controller and wanted to see if anyone has the Tekonsha models: Primus, P2, P3 or Prodigy.
All of these have nice specs, but I would feel better if someone had one that liked it.
If you have another brand that is killer....let me know what brand and model.
I need to get one coming real quick before my Indy trip next week.
Thanks,
Keith

I've got the Primus and I love it. It feels like the trailer brakes are tied in the same hydraulic system as the truck.

Truck's with my dad, I'll see when he gets home. We bought the truck used from s guy and it already had the brake, plus every other feature possible and then some. What a steal!

I have a new Prodigy, for my 32' trailer and it work great when I came down for the bash this year.
And it is portable, you can use it in all your vehicals, you just have to get extra receivers that it mounts in for each vehical.
