429 "sk" heads????? Empty 429 "sk" heads?????

Anyone with any info/knowledge of 429-460 heads with an "SK" designation on them. I have a set of heads with a casting number "SK-52545" on top of the 3rd intake port (under the valve cover), it also has "Prop No2" cast into the top of the 1st intake port (under the valve cover also). So if there is anyone that can give me any info I would appreciate it. I have not been able to find out anything on these so far!!

do you have additional pictures.

Looks to be a pre production casting.

yep they work.

Have you CC's the Chamber and runners? What are the Valve Sizes?

They Look Like CJ heads and I'm guessing something pre production or engineering test ??

I know Ford released SK desinated heads on the 427, and I am told that designation was for a racing (NASCAR) head. But Ford didn't use the Non-BOSS 429 in NASCAR to my knowledge. The guy I got these heads from also has the matching dual 4 BBl intake and Carbs with the SK designation on them.

Valves are 225 intake for sure, and I believe the exhaust is 187. They do have the larger style CJ ports on them. Actually CJ gaskets are a little small on them. I believe due to possible "work"

Thats a big exhaust Valve, have you checked to see if the valves are moved from the standard location?

Look to be some parts they where playing with, possibly looking at putting bigger valves in? You know pre production experiments, tests, Ect.

They Look pretty cool, Post up soem intake pictures too, bunch of guys on here like to see this kind of stuff, cool automotive history.

ITS THE SK,NASCAR HEAD,JUST LIKE THE INTAKE, BEFOR FACTORY EX PART NUM, ITS A GREAT HEAD, PORTS ARE A LITTLE LARGER THEN CC WISE THEN SCJ/CJ HEAD,THIS HEAD WAS MADE IN CONJUCTION WITH THE FACTORY 2 4 DUAL 429 INTAKE, THE LAST PAIR I HAD WENT ON A TRUCK PULL ENGINE

To be honest with you, I would try to get my hands on the matching carbs and intake. That would be cool to have especially since they are more so on the rare side plus they are matched to each other. Even if you don't use them, cool pieces.

I am interested in finding a set of the SK 52545 heads that belong on my car. If anyone has these or the distributor or exhaust please let me know.
