Me thinks Jon's "Turd" should run good and strong. The old combo was kicking sand in all the big Chevy boy's faces. The new one should be fun to watch.
May have to step up to the sissy tires????

Shit, you do some serious ball bustin and thats ok, but when someone puts a little heat in the fire, the whole group gets fired up and others get called outrichter69 wrote:We aint got no snowrockets in Oklahoma...........it was 100 degrees today with a heat index of 115, that ice storm back in January is looking mighty fine right now lol.
I just assumed I was being givin' a hard time by some guy with a 8.5" tired low 8 sec n/a smallblock car, hell now its comical lol.
the way I see it, going fast is cool no matter whats it in or on....thats just a motorhead thing
I do hope you make a 8 something pass in the future no matter what the cost....i do know how hard it is to get there myself....even with a snow rocket that dont belong on tar as some say
by the way the slick is a 10.5...no W..
ps....this sled used to be a contender at one time.... not too much anymore....turbos have taken over and high 7 sec passes are being made at 170+...now a 181mph has been made....thats cool no matter what

Why sure it is you can make methanol and ethanol from garden waste , and methane from foul smelling composting materials , you can also extract the oxygenating agent used in Q-16 although it has to be converted .
Don't you know anything about nature other than tuuurnado chasing oh wait that's Fabio that does that .

M5 methanol formula:
1 gallon deer pee , 1 scoop of goose poop and 3 rolaids.....let set for 15 min. and then shake well

Between the gardening magazines, my collection of pre-WWII Mechanix Illustrated, and my 1001 ways to cook swine (the muslim edition), I have skills. I should be able to come up with a killer combination, I'll start working on this right away.

Well Blake, upping the shift from 7200 to 7400 it went .04 quicker and gained 1/2 mph. Even nearly 2 months since I've been in the car its still boring.
Prolly the worst air of the season and track temps over 125 it still ran a 5.77........plain
meth ........

Dan you know some People have jobs and work nights on a rotating shift so you and other can stay warm in the winters and cool in the summers..... and the closest track is 175 miles away and sometimes it is only open when I work......
and for some Reason my Bosses and company think I am suppose to work....... when it is my rotation on shift.... it seems to pay the bills.......
I do not depend on Credit cards and rack them to the limits so I can play like some of the people on here.....Every thing I have is Payed for......

Isn't that how tractor pullin' began??? Now they got supercharged, turbocharged, with 7 engines and Nitro.
They better get a handle on it or this is where you're eventually headed.

That's what mine did , but with the 4.5 inch crank in it and a stock block I just stopped at 7100.............
The higer the shift point the faster it went. Even with the peak hp at 6500. I guess it was falling back on some good stuff on the shift.

Re: Looks like my Street heads have a new home...........
you are right -- a 500 pound sled is not a good comparison . that sled is just over 500 lbs plus if you add the rider , but just at 500 lbs with a 800cc engine (48 cubes) . thats 1o lbs. per cubic inch . 521 cube BBF x 10 . who runs a 5210 pound drag car ? . not a good comparo , more so when the riders weight is added.feetfirst wrote:Hmmm.........a 500 lb snowmobile on nos is not a good comparison.....

don't forget the "tire" differences lol, and the aerodynamics.
Best thing with this whole combo is its been together for 3 years, have not had one engine or engine part related failure. Oil pressure just as good as the day I put it together.
