45/70 gov. issue single shot rifle, with bushnell scope made by H&R pretty good shape benn hunting a few times so there are a few little sratches. Kicks like a mule !!

I've got one, with the original Army bayonet. Granddaddy bought it new after the Spanish-American War as gov. surplus. Yes, it kicks like a mule. I "think" mine is a Springfield. It's not for sale though.

Na.... I already keep a friend next to me most of the time, just got a soft spot for old 45/70's.

This is a modern H&R single shot the way I'm taking it.

Yes but it must be shipped to a FFL licensed dealer. Easiest way is to find a dealer in your area that will handle it for you. I think I paid $25 plus the cost of shipping for the shop to handle the shipping for me. I just had to get the name and phone number of the dealer the buyer wanted the gun shipped to. Hope this helps

I heard the same thing to be legal..you need to ship it to a gun dealer. shipping a pistol is a little harder.
The thing that I dont understand though is if you buy a black powder rifle or pistol from cabelas they will ship it to you .

Black powder is not considered a firearm. You can open a store an sell blackpowder without a license

hey cheatham , that would be good, I have a dealer, I 've bought 6, or 7 weapons in the last couple yrs. of course with the fed check and all. I will call them tomorrow , and find out , what there charge is . and to see what they can do.

hey Cheatham, I talked with my gun dealer, and he said he could fax you his federal license info, or if you didnt have a fax, he could fax it to me,then I send it to you with the check/m.o. payment.

then you would be able to ship it to them, then I have to go do the check as normal, for buying a gun.
