I've talked to two people this afternoon that STILL think Dan is having his block fitted for roller bearings. A block needs to be BORED to to get the roller bearings installed. What was happening in the picture is .....HONING. Honing is used to adjust a bore by .0001-.001.......be it cam , rod or main housing. If one needed to 1/16"-1/8".........a bore job would be needed.

I wasn't sure if he had already bored it and was just honing it to get the bores within a certain range. You know, to get them closer to each other instead of just enough to be in the bearing clearance range. I helped my machinist get my saddle bores all within about 5 thou of each other.

Keep TJ away...the dog slobber will rust the bores!
It looks like he whizzed on my golf cart wheel last time out. Just got around to washing.
Lets see......
what color to paint a new block...???
Do Not get it dirty...yet.
