battery question

For years I've run nothing but a single 12V battery and an alternator. Never a failure yet. Just a slow 2 amp charge the night before I load the car into the trailer, then race up to 2 days at a time without ever charging the battery. My dragster had a 588 at 14.5:1 on alky and never a problem with just a single Red Top Optima. ALWAYS started. Before that my other dragster and door cars had nothing but a big Wally World battery and alternator.

IMHO, if a single, fully charged 12V battery with an alternator won't start and maintain your stuff, you have a problem elsewhere.
