Friday at the Bash has always been spank Bruno day. You'll never get a $200 entry race going on there. Not 16 high rollers in the house. It's all about hangin with your friends and showing off your pretty Fords and TNT. No matter what happens , you just can't please everyone. I'm just glad to see these guys try to have another fun filled Bash weekend. Just the smell of KY's nitro and cold beer sounds wonderful to me!! king

first of all Lem , ive been running my mouth(smack talkin) for the last 5 years when the bash shows up and we all have fun , and we are all having fun , and every knows that , now if you are trying to blame me for the low car count and particapation better look some where else buddy ........ every year i try to promote this event for you guys in more way then one , now if your are look for a different type of atmosphere all you have to do is pm me or pick up the phone and call me and i will be glad to stop all this crazy, aggressive smack talking Rolling Eyes



you and Phillip put on a great event , all we want to have is a little heads up class thats all ....nothing wrong with a little smack talk and i dont believe anyone got out of hand here , lets have fun guys ........ damn

I think something like this would be a nice addition to the standard program. Run off in a heads up pro tree style format. Run a hat race style deal with a $200 buy in. Run 2 rounds of qualifying, 16 car field, ladder them and run them off. A 16 car field would yield a $3200 payout, split it between the winner(70%), and R/U (30%) so it would be $2200 to win, $1000 R/U. The rules would be simple Door cars run whatcha brung.

You can run the same format regardless of entry. If people want a lower entry, like say $50 thats fine too. The payouts would be lower in that scenario, but that would be expected. At $50 entry, and giving the track 10% it would yield a 720 dollar payout you could do a winner take all, or split it 60/40 as I mentioned earlier. either way at $50 entry you would still be way ahead. Lets get some opinions on what everyone wants to do a get it set up. Im not bringing my car this year as I will be crewing for Rich, and Tony Fraske so I could help out with the class if needed as far as ladders and such. My whole thinking on this was just to have a fun heads up style deal that could involve as many participants as possible in regards to rules and such. I totally understand the entry fee dilemma, but that can be lower or higher depending on what everyone thinks is reasonable. The nice thing about the heads up .400 tree deal is that the fastest car rarely wins. At that level and speed anything can happen. So I guess we just need to garner some feedback and put it together.

Just do a heads up pro tree gambler race during Fridays test and tune....... doesn;t need to be real organized..... Winner split the pot with Phillip for letting us use the track.....

I've done all 3 (heads up, index, and bracket). Index and Bracket are very different. You cant change your dial every pass in index racing, you have to tune for weather changes rather than looking at a weather station and wiping the window chalk off. I fgeel leaving at the same time is easier in index racing especially if your chasing(watching the other car go down track while Im waiting tests my patience I have a tendency to redlight). Both trees are equalizers. I prefer a pro tree, but a sprtsman tree isnt any harder to get down(easier probly)in fact my 12 year old daughter can nail a .500 tree. I was under the impression this was going to be a heads up NO INDEX deal.
