Ahhhhh chevy guys...............

So this guy I am working with tells me he was working on his Mustang yesterday so I perked up thinking to myself "wow another Ford guy". So then he shows me some pics of his Mustang on his phone. The guy has a BBC in it. So the conversation went something like this:

Me: Why did you put a chev in it?
Him: I wanted to go fast.
Him: It is a 468 BBC.

Then he shows me a pic of his big headers.

Me: How much power do you think it is going to make?
Him: It should make a thousand (1000).
Me: What kind of heads are on it?
Him: Stock iron ones but they are ported.
Me: What kind of compression?
Him: 13:1

I just stopped talking to him at that point (at least about his car anyways).

I have a friend like that... His 355 went low 11s. I told him that a 351 Ford could do the same... He don't listen!

I like too lead them on a little bit letting them think i've never been around a race car. Then I slowly start reeling them in and see how big of a liar they really are

I kind of do the same thing. I let them get it all out, then I can judge them.

I talked to a Big block Chevy guy awhile back and He mentioned to me he was still Running his LS7 454 in Prostock Competatively......
I broke out Laughing and walked off......

chity in a Ford , the wife n i were at local strip on sat. i was takin pics of the Ford powered rides, only a few, we walked up on 2 nice stangs 1 fox body n 1 02 model took 1 look under hood n said F^%$^%#$*% chevy junk n walked off she said why arent u takin pics of these 2 i said im not wastin my time on that chit , assholes ,1 big block 1 small block chity, they both got trailered buy a Bad A$$ SBF running 5.0 flat went over n told him good job spankin them chity`s he said that why he does it. also said nice shirt to me, i was wearing my BBF Bash T, he may come next year
