I don't know where and what type of golf cart battaries some of you have been buying, but I can get 6 brand new, (not reman) made in the USA, 6volt batteries for less than $400. $800 is crazy to pay for 6volt, wet cell batteries! Ya'll must be buying gel cell trojans.

"D" ... did you see the gas golf cart at the Woodward Cruise with the snowmobile engine and the wheelie bars. It went 60 miles an hour on the rear wheels. The guy said it would go faster but, he wasn't gonna go there.

Re: Which one do you prefer?
D my electric kart at work is a 92 modal 3 wheel ezgo 36 volt my batterys are 3 years old and I only charge it 2 times a week.An I do some riding from 1 building to the other plus it will pull better than the new gas ones we have. I have a tool box loaded with tools and a small aluminum box body on the back and it stays loaded full of stuff for maintainence.
It is cheaper in the long run for a electric kart over gas.I hardy ever have a problem out of the electric karts we have 2 electric , 4 gas,and 1 John Deere Gator
the John Deere Gater has over 2000 hours on it put only tires on it.

Jones the last ones we bought was $80 a peace 6x80= $480 and that was without a core charge on them I kept the old ones .The old batteries was good it was the charger not working and the shipping manager ordered the new ones this was only 3 month ago I was out that day he ordered them I told him that what you get for not letting me check it before ordering new ones.

Randy I don't know how I missed that! All my co-workers and friends have been telling me about that golf cart...
But then again, I'm the same guy that missed the pro street garbage truck three years in a row

Re: Which one do you prefer?
I walked the entire pits three times at Norwalk the last time I was there. Ironically, I didn't meet Dan and Rick until night time even though I passed their spot a couple times. I said I would stop by, I made sure I did...in the staging lanes at night.

4 wheeler.
WAY more uses and a hell of a lot more fun to drive.
I pretty much only snow plow with mine, i've only put about 25 miles on it the last 3 years .
This old Separatist Quad will pull a catwalk, Does 70mph, And can plow the driveway.
Plows all winter on $10 of gas.

No what kind of Batteries are you buying? a Golf cart Batteries run about $800.... Now you can get the Cheapo WalMart and may get by ....
And Harold you must not use your golf cart much if you see no difference in the Electric bill....We probably used the Electric 20 out of 30 days a month.......

The trickle chargers like Harold uses don't charge fast, and they don't use very much elect. Harold races about every weekend and uses his cart lots.
