Took the Tbird to the track

Went to US60 last night ro TNT this new engine. Done a burnout and was backing up spraying tranny fluid everywhere. The convertor decided to spring a leak!! Never got a pass ,but it sounded and felt real strong. Well ,that's 3 engine down , 1 tranny , 1 convertor and wrecked the car...What a %$%** Year...Hopefully next year will be better. Actually 3 tranny's ,I think the Mustang got another case too...Going to Keown's in a minute to borrow their spare convertor..This thing needed to be tightened up a few hundred RPM ,so maybe it ain't all bad

Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me....whoa! Dude, you're having a tough year for sure! But that new motor is gonna be a beast! Are you gonna try and make it to US 60 for their bracket finals Oct 8-10? I plan on going, cheaper than going to Alabama with Bluegrass!

Tom ,I'm planning on taking my stuff up thursday, I'll only be able to TNT friday,gotta work that night ,then race saturday and sunday if I got the POS still running Don't worry Bobby Z , i'll keep pluggin this old Bitch..I'll get it

This convertor is broke and threw a piece out the side. I got George's extra one ,if I move it around you can feel it moving . mine is like a rock. It's a 9" spragless. I guess we'll see what happened to it when I send it back?

This beast is ready for round 2 now!!Keown's convertor is going 5300 RPM. I'm going to wait until this weekend is over before sending mine back and see how it works. They are identical convertors other than the set up. If I like it, I'll have mine set up just like it ...after they fix whatever is broke in it.
