New best 60ft. 1.3020
managed a 6.18 with a 1.39 60ft. in the heat of day before the air got good, 1600ft 66 humidity and 79 degrees. Tryed it tied down and spun through most of 60ft with a 1.55 60 ft. I wish a really good track was closer.Car hooked once but went toward the center line packing the fronts ,had to lift on the 1.30 60ft. Allwell someday i will get it lined out i hope.

What kind of track prep (if any) are they doing?........
Are they spraying the track with any traction compound (and if so, which brand)?
Are they scraping the starting line often enough to keep the excess rubber build up/ripples/ocean-waves in check?
Are they scraping the starting line too often, never allowing enough rubber to build up?
If there is an oil-down, how do they clean it up?
Do they just mop the spill?
Do they broom in an absorbent?
Do they burn-off the spill?
Or any combo of the above?
It can be amazing how bad the track prep can be at some tracks, & how expertly done the prep can be at others.

the good ole white mop on starting line.
It seems tub cars work good and thats what they care about. Track always hooks alot better at night. Been rumored around that they use cold weather traction compound and it doesnt work good when track surface is hotter. Might just be a rumor though. All my friends running small tires were having alot of inconcitences with there 60ft. They dont do much if any prep during test and tune i hear. They did have some oil downs during the night witch had to factor in.

Until it gets really cold, it will always hook better at night.
