Video of the 71 Mustang Super Cobra Jet- JET CAR @ NMRA Finals BG

These guys drove from Missouri when they got the call from the Miller Jet dragster team for a substitute. (Elaine Larson was feeling "under the weather" )
It was a neat treat to see an older funny car Mustang body jet car.
The crew guy told me that on this run the chute did not deploy and that was the first time that has ever happened.
Also, it is the only self starting jet car (in the world?)
Gary Forres is the driver and he put on a great show.
