Do a460 headers fit p51s?

As the title says. I'm pretty sure they don't...

No they don't fit, but if you have a dragster or chassis car you may get them to work using a set of Charlie Evans adaptors to bolt BBC headers to the regular ford ports. I wouldn't think it would work with somehting like a fox body though.

dfree have you got a pic of these adapters, or anyone else? i did a search and cant find anything. I have some headers that came with the Tbird with bbc pattern flange. I didnt want to hack up two sets of headers and the adapter may be just what I need.

Once you use Uncle Charlie's adapters you will wonder why you ever tried to mount up headers any other way. I have a pair and they make header mounting a pleasure. Be aware that they are made to fit the floor contour of the TFS Streets and the floor of the adapter ports will be above the floor of standard ports. I have seen no problems associated with this mismatch on my DOVE heads though.

You can port match them if you want. It is easier to take metal out,,,,,than to put it back in.

so if I have a set of headers for TFS A460's in a fox body (and I do-accufabs 2.25" prim.)... I can run tf streets, or scj heads and not have any major issues?

You may be able too if you have any kind of clearance at all. Those flanges are about 5/8" thick but they are also tapered due to the adjustment necessary for the outer Chevy head angle verse the Ford's outer head angle.

Another potential problem is the height of the A-460 exhaust port is higher by design,,,verses the SCJ & etc. exhaust port. So in essence you would be lowering the header some.
