which oil pan for a460 block?
Is there any issues with the moroso Eliminator-1 pan fitting on the a460 block? What about the canton drag race pan?
Thanks

most typical off the shelf pans will require some fitting of the pan or machining of the outer edge of the caps to fit from my experiance.

What Dave said is correct.
The part # will depend on the chassis the engine is going in.

Not exactly. The Moroso steel pans 20625, 20614 and 20620 all use the same pan rail. On my last engine I had to have the 3 4 bolt caps milled for clearance. The pan would sit down on the block, but the caps kept it from lining up with all the bolt holes. You can either dent the pan at those locations to make it fit or do as I did and get the main caps milled. Took .050 off the side of each 4 bolt cap. Made the 20614 pan fit.

Wow David,
Maybe you missed your calling. Instead of a race car driver, you should have been a photographer!
Nice detail.... Keith

Be sure to keep the cutting 1/16"-3/32" above the pan rail.
