Back from Bowling Green
Just got in ,it's about 11pm. Finally got the miss out the engine this morning. Tried tuning it out yesterday, thought it was a lean miss at high RPM.Jetted and played with timing .Never got it out ,but it still ran three 5.55's in a row. This morning I jetted back down and found 7 NGK (used) plugs and replaced all but 1 of the Autolite's and fixed it. It went 4 - 5.53's in a row and the track went to shit after sundown and it went 3-5.54's .then in the 7th round at 5 cars I was .002 up front to his .014, it got almost on the centerline(almost exactlly like at Jackson Tn.)when I crashed it. skeered me quite a bit, but being the guy I am ,I never lifted and got it back in the groove and it bobbled at 500 feet again like the last 3 -5.54 passes.ended up running 5.571 on a 5.54 dial . The other guy went 5.728 on a 5.72 taking the win by .0115..Then he got the buy into the finals and blew his engine on the buy run..It was a great day of Racing ,to finally get this thing running some #'s and killing the tree.Randy Moore went out 4th round.Good to see my friends today too!!!

I had some problems this year w/3934's Dan.Does ProComp build plugs yet. Never had problems w/Autolite until this year, sometimes I think some of this stuff IS made in a sweat shop in china Sounds like you got it goin pretty strong, remember ,you picked up some weight w/that block.
