Who can rebuild Roller Lifters? I believe they are a set of Crane roller lifters. They have a .750 dia wheel on them. I thought Comp Cam did them but will they do Crane?

You can't rebuild roller lifters because when you push the pin out and a new one back into the lifter it will loose about 30% from the original press fit.

the pin will not be tight enough in the lifter body when you push it in for the second time...

Was recently also a topic on insidetopalcohol.com about it.

Thats interesting I will have to read that.Heres a thought what would happen if you went to say a .0003 oversize pin to increase holding power as the original pressed fit? I wonder what some of the vendors do that offer this rebuild service,And what do they do to get it back to original press fit specs. Has anyone here had problems with rebuilt lifters?

Comp Cams has been rebuilding their roller lifters for years! I don't know if they could, or would rebuild a set Cranes.
