Re: OMG the snow
Too much snow, there's no where to put it. We lost 3-4 feet of street on each side, basically one driving lane now. I don't know what's going to happen if it snows more. My boss plows, 2 Bobcats, 4 power stroke 1 tons with 9 foot Leo plows and a ex DOT Ford dump truck with a BIG plow. Got to work this morning and the shop was full of busted trucks. No room to fix cars, spent the day working on plow trucks, maybe I can do some body work tomorrow.

Re: OMG the snow
We got our share Saturday. Problem is all the drifting and windchill. If not for that it wouldnt be bad. Momma stayed home tonight. The roads are sheer ice, plus the kids have had no school today and for tomorrow.

X3 Harold it was ugly here in Northeast,Ohio Monday must have snowed at least 10 inches and blowing like crazy. The one time i was driving Monday i thought my windshield was fogged up that's how bad the visibility was couldn't see 50 feet in front of you.I'm glad i have a 4X4 truck or i wouldn't have been out there at all.I seen a bunch of front wheel drive car spinning and sliding all over the place. After 2 weekends in a row of snow i'm already waiting for spring to get here.
Later Mark.

Re: OMG the snow
Our little part of the world has been closed for a couple days, every road shut-down. First time in 20 years I can't get to work with the roads closed. Not a great time for the crew stuck at the plant, coming on 48hrs on duty .

I saw on a national weather report today that it was warmer in Bangor, Maine that it was in Jacksonville, Florida - that's certainly upside-down.

Re: OMG the snow
I'm amazed this year... we had a really good summer, warm & dry for the most part after last year's sub-standard winter where the snowblower only came out once
All this current activity and we've had a couple dustings at best

Re: OMG the snow
We have about 2' here and lotsa wind to move it around. The major highway from Buffalo to London has been closed for two days, cars, trucks, even plows in the ditch. So much stuck in the road the plows can't get through. They called in the army to get it cleaned up. Wonder if they will just blow it all up???
Was trucking up north of North Bay this weekend and got layed over for a day due to roads closed up there. -30* with the wind chill. It was raining in the morning before we got there, turned to snow and dropped about 25*.
I hate snow.

Well, we are looking at a record 80° here today, and then possible dusting of snow on Friday morning.
Sure was nice yesterday though!

Delivered into Temiskaming (sp?) just into Quebec. Went into North Bay and then took 63 east. Going to be running up there quite a bit.

It is, but I learned early on in my career to learn to manage with gloves on. The other donkey i've been working with takes his gloves off for everything he does. He'll have arthritis for sure.
