As far as your block is concerned, not getting the caps does not = a deal at all, you may as well just look for another block and move on.

I bought a full set of the CAT splayed caps for my 557. You have to pay close attention to the outer step on the splayed bolt part to get the surfaces matching with the right clearance, but a good machine shouldn't have a problem with them.

you need to buy the 4 bolt block in the auction section, its a steal at $600 shipped.
