So does that mean you are making the trip up to VA on October 3rd weekend to play in the mud with us? Kris said he's coming up, but I think he's going to be too scared to run George in the mud again. Last time he came north to play I spanked his 466 with my 200k mile 351w!
Now he has to face the much lighter, much more powerful ranger. I think he's going to be a little after he runs.....

Re: 77 mud truck
Been good. went to jamaica for 2 weeks and got married.
got another dog a while back that chewed my house up when we were away.
and basically just been pluggin away on the house.
paint is on the walls on the main floor, puttin the tile backsplash up today....
now the wife is talkin about movin to a different position in a different town.
It's a good opportunity for her career..so we'll see if she gets the job.

Re: 77 mud truck
Boy I can remember them days using a come along to pull the engine out thank goodness they invented the cherry picker make life alot easier and safer.Be real careful with the come along I had one to brake the little pin that hold the clicker one time the good thing was the engine wasn't any good anyway.I got a friend wanting to put a clutch in his braco 2 I told him to pull the engine makes easier than pulling tran and tranfer case .Good luck on getting her back together.

Sweet, what gas you planning on running? With those heads and a fair cam you'll be making some torque easily. That's what will probably get you through the mud. Cool truck.

Re: 77 mud truck
Ill be running 111
Got a lead on some today for 6.75 a gallon which is bout .75c a gallon cheaper than i have seen it anywhere else
Trying to find a decent set of headers for it at the moment that want break the bank debating building a set and bringing them out the fender just behind the tires also sold 2 TSL's off the back (38x12.50's) and picked up 2 Boggers for the rear (38.5x15's) still gonna run the TSL's front hopefully have the short block back the end of next weekIll have some more vids when i get it back together

Keep in mind, headers for any year in the 67-79 year range ford trucks will work if your truck is in that range.
