Pinks Almost All Out?

So I'm watching the bald guy right now. Yeah, I need to get out more!!

They have this new floating ET deal?? WTF, they want you to run all out in qualifying, the when you get to your 2nd time trial, you have to run faster or you go home????? So you HAVE to sand-bag on your first TT.

Am I missing something here??

Yeah, they try to match up two cars that ran close numbers in the first TT then dial them both in just a bit quicker than the fastest of the two. If you can't run under that, you are DQed. I kinda lost the whole "run your car all-out" thing here. Oh, and you only have a couple of seconds to see the number you have to run on a board under the bald guy's feet before he drops his arms.

It's a joke ,all for TV .They don't know shit about racing and niether do 90% of the fans there. It's just cool to be on TV

That would work for my car. Just don't warm up the oils. Our car runs a tenth faster on the second pass, if I don't run it around the pits.

I used to think it would be so cool to race on PAO, but w/all the BS changes,I could'nt care less.

My thoughts exactly, when it first started airing, I thought it was a great show, I have not watched one int proabaly 2 months now

hey guys the whole event is geared towards the fans in the stands and the tv veiwers.....its a huge show.....i worked one of the events on the start line i was told to blast the cars threw as fast as we could....for the fans and to throw the sticker car bracket racers off there game and dont give them a chance to screw with there delay boxes........its a show....same as the IHRA national events next year......

Umm show up at your local track and for the most part the stands are vacant.

How nice would it be to run in front of thousands of fans like a NHRA event. Who you meet at the event is endless, sponsor, ect.

Ya all are a bunch of sour grapes and have a mind set for failure. Who cares if ya make it.. ya got to try.. thats the point. You live life one time.. no second chances.

And yes I have been to a PAO event, as have many others on this site.

It's NOT a race. It's a televised goat rope. You'll see.
